Improvisations Konrad Dorecki

$26.95

Konrad Dorecki, 24, is a pianist specialising in solo improvisation. Konrad has been classically trained in piano since the age of 6 and was awarded a music scholarship at Mentone Grammar School, which enabled him to study piano privately. His improvisations are highly original and virtuosic – they are primarly influenced by the great Romantic and Impressionist traditions in piano literature. Konrad has been regularly featured performing both classical concert repertoire and his own improvisations in recitals organised by the Polish community around Melbourne. Among other events, Konrad has also performed at the Robert Blackwood Hall (2001), the Gala Concert at the Nation Theatre (2006), St Kilda and at the Victoria Golf Club (2010). Several of his performances have been broadcast on SBS radio. In July 2010 Konrad was interviewed live on 3MBS 103-5 FM and performed his improvisations in a live studio broadcast.
