17 May Schimmel pianos at the Ringwood Eisteddfod 2022
Schimmel Pianos Australia continues its commitment to nurturing young musical talent at the upcoming 2022 Ringwood Eisteddfod.
This event is certain to live up to its award status from last year. – Winner of the 2021 Maroondah City Council “Community Event of the Year”.
The Eisteddfod has a mission to “Showcase, Inspire and Reward Performing Arts Scholars”. This makes it a perfect match with the values of Schimmel Pianos Australia and Germany.
It’s easier to make beautiful music on a beautiful piano.
Bernie Cappichiano (Bernies Music Land) believes in young Australian talent. So, he offers them support in the most practical way- by giving them the experience of performing on the world’s best pianos.
This year’s contestants will enjoy playing a Schimmel K 219 or the Schimmel C189.
Schimmel Konzert Series Pianos have pride of place in concert halls and performance venues all across Europe. They are certain to inspire competitors. “It gives them a taste of what can be achieved on a high performance piano”. says Bernie. “They can experience the ultimate in design and sound resonance. These pianos are made in Germany for the professional musician.”

The Details
When: The Eisteddfod runs from the June 3- June 19, 2022. Piano sections are on 4th – 6th June. The piano concerto competition is on June 13th.
Where: All Heats in June are held at Maroondah Federation Estate: 32 Greenwood Ave, Ringwood. Free parking is available on site. It’s a short walk from Ringwood Train Station.

Showcase Concert
When: A showcase concert will feature selected prize winners. It will start at 2pm on Saturday 19th of July.
